Have You Met Matt(e) Nude?!

Hello beauties,
Having read so many nice reviews on the theBalm's Meet Matt(e) Nude palette, I decided to give it a try, to think that I have been overlooking matte shadows as I thought they'll look flat and not vibrant blah blah... Trust theBalm on packaging --they never disappoint, it is the usual cardboard packaging with matt smiling back at you.

The palette contains nine(9) shadows, I must say the individual shadows are quite large, they feel smooth and buttery, pigmentation is of course on point and they also easy to pick up with brush. Staying power is great as well, I wore some shades from this palette and I noticed it lasted all day with primer of course. Check out a look here.

A few shades might look ashy on darker skin tones but these shadows blend in smoothly and well, my least favorite shades are matte Malloy and Singh. Please note that just because it is all matte palette doesn't mean you can't add some shimmery shadows to your makeup--matte eye look sometimes can look really flat.

If you are thinking of getting this palette you should give it a go, it a nice palette to own, pigmented, blendable and has great staying power.
Have you tried theBalm's meet matt(e) nude palette? What is/are your favorite eye shadow palettes? Have a fabulous day!

  1. AHHH! I've seen this palette and the nude tude palette many many times over at Sasa here in singapore but I've held back because I know I won't be using the matte shades too often. My favorite row is the middle and the last shade on the bottom row. I'm sooo interested in the greyish toned taupey browns, they're soo pretty! I know they're very good quality, as I've owned two singles in the past.
