What's The Secret?! Laura Mercier!

Hello beauties,
The struggle to hide dark circle is real, one thing is to conceal another is to set the concealer to prevent creasing which in my opinion is the most important part, I'm on the hunt for a perfect/HG setting powder so I picked up Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder in #1.

So a little hint #1 is for fair to medium skin tones while #2 is medium to deep skin tones but little old me didn't know this, but meh! it worked just fine. It is a white finely milled powder with some tiny bit of shimmers(but doesn't show up on the skin), it is light weight and blends in very smoothly... they meant business with the brightening tho, it instantly brightens up the skin, it also sets concealer in place almost all day and doesn't settle in fine lines.

Secret Brightening Powder is not meant to be used all over the face, just under the eyes, bridge of the nose and any other areas that needs brightening. Don't worry this doesn't give powder flashbacks in photos. I use a sponge wedge to apply and then dust off excess with a fluffy brush. Something to note is that this doesn't help block oil at all(well it didn't promise that), my nose area and cheek bone area are oily (since I apply concealer in those places I set as well but I become really greasy only after couple of hours) but the under eye stays put.

What I like?! does brightens up the under eye area, finely milled, no flashbacks
What I don't like? Does not control/block oil.

Have you tried Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder before? What is/are you favorite setting powder(s)?! I'll love to check them out! Have a fabulous day!

  4. Oh I would love to have some LM right now! Been wanting to try their tinted moisturizer forever but I need to make a dent in my collection first! I personally don't own any eye setting powders but I really want to buy one specifically for the under eyes. Love how natural this looks on you and not ashy at all! It sounds like an amazing product and worth every dollar!
