Hello beauties,
I decided to get on the brighter side of life so I got the BH Cosmetics Eyes On The 80's Palette, I actually got this 50% off which is a cool bargain plus I didn't have any playful and colorful palette so.. why not give it a try...
I believe you already know BH Cosmetics with their fun cardboard packaging, this one is no exception, this palette comes with 30 matte and shimmer shades including mostly bright neon shades... This palette is suppose to take you back to the colorful and bold era of the 80's and I must say they mean bold---look at all those colors!!
As for pigmentation, it varies and depends on color and texture, I find that some of the matte ones are moderately pigmented while some are well pigmented, they are soft and smooth, easy to pickup, blendable and has no major fall outs, some of the shimmery ones are fairly pigmented but can be built also easy to pick up but expect a little bit of fall outs. With most eyeshadows you need an eye primer to extend the wear. The individual eyeshadow pan is a little bit smaller than the ones from sleek but honestly I can't hit pan in a year hehe!
All in all I do love this palette, it is quite versatile and eye looks possibilities are endless and I love how the colors are arranged row by row makes it easier to get inspiration for looks (color-wise). As for who will like this? We already know this is for the bold even though the last row contains neutral shades to mix things up a little bit.
Find all the 30 shades swatches below (I swatched on bare skin no primer and I used an eyeshadow applicator) and two simple looks I created with some shades from the palette below....

DeleteGorgeous palette! I've been dying to get a colorful shimmery palette! I currently have one colorful palette from coastal scents that's great for days I want something super colorful but I would love a shimmery one! I think you did a great job with both looks, every girl needs a colorful palette to play with!
