theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer aka The Luminizer

Hello everyone,
Mary-Lou Manizer is one of the most hyped highlighters ya! it's everyone's love.. I've been wondering why it (sorry she) got all that hype... oh well now I know.. She is beautifully made haha! right from packaging to product, I have nothing but LOVE for her...

Mary-Lou Manizer is a shimmery, golden champagne highlighter that feels soft and buttery, according to theBalm this is a multipurpose product as it is an highlighter, shimmer and shadow.. yes yes it is.. it gives a warm glow to the skin without those annoying powdery feel and ohh did I mention how pigmented it is, you definitely need a light hand with this one.
I apply to my cheekbones and bridge of the nose, at first I dabbed this on and I was overly glowing, but then with blending and blending it was ok--that is how pigmented it is-- so like I said start little by little. I also apply to the center of the lids and brow bone--oh so gorgeous.... My swatches does her no justice at all!

Mary-Lou Manizer is definitely something you actually need to try out! yup yup! price wise it's between high-end and drug-store(leans more to the high end tho) but this pan can last forever lol so definitely worth the price... one thing is--it's that "handle with care" kinda product if it falls well--you know the rest of the story.

From package to product I LOVE! and yes recommend if you haven't tried it already, it is universal, works on almost all skin tones. I look forward to trying the Betty-Lou Manizer bronzer.
Tried the Mary-Lou Manizer or any product(s) from the balm? What is/are your favourite highlighters I'll love to check them out! Have a fabulous day!

  4. So glad to hear you love this too! I've had this now for almost 4 years and I use it more for an under eyebrow highlight than a face highlighter! I love how fine the glow is!

  5. I have swatched it at the beauty store but I don't have it. I personally really like MAC Soft and Gentle. It's my go-to when I want glowing cheeks!

  6. I find this to look quite ashy on dark skin but it would be perfect on fair/pale skin. But since I have dark skin I would likely get the Betty Lou manizer
