Hello everyone,
There are these products that people/beauty gurus/bloggers can't stop talking about, it is almost like everyone loves it, it actually gives people higher/too much expectations-- but anyways we follow and buy-- I have a few products to share with you guys today-- So let's find out if they are worth the hype or not in my opinion of course.....
Mary Lou Manizer, this beautiful lady gets so much love from bloggers of all skin tones, it is a pigmented, soft, buttery champagne gold highlighter that blends well but must be used with light hand. Ok to the main question is it worth the hype or not?! YES it is, if you don't have it yet, you should check it out.
Real Techniques Brushes, no I mean buffing brush, yes almost all the RT brushes are well hyped and recommended but the buffing brush is one of the most talked about, it does comes in a set of four, so you can't get this alone-- it is soft, buffs and blends in foundation very well-- also works with powder products, doesn't scratch---so you know the answer to this! an obvious YES!
Benefit They're Real Mascara, they're real is probably one of the most talked about mascara, it is suppose to make your lashes look like they are falsies hence the name they're real, when I apply one coat my lashes fan out (adds more volume), second coat gives me spider lashes, which sometimes can be annoying, don't get me wrong I love this mascara but I wish after the second coat the lashes still maintains its volume. It also doesn't clog but can feel a bit heavy sometimes. I'm on the fence on this one really! but I love it.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation, this is one product I've been using for a long time even before I started reading blogs, Colorstay foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation applies evenly and flawlessly. It has formula suitable for both dry and combination skin-- I believe it has a wide range of shades-- It is probably one of the most hyped drugstore foundations--- worth it? YES!

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, once upon a time you can't go through a YouTube video or a beauty blog without a mention of NYX JP in milk, it is a lovely makeup base for shadows, it is creamy and easy to work with helps shadow pop but I hardly use it simply because I always forget to lol.... So ya it is worth it.
Hopefully I'll share more products in the future. Let me know what products you think are worth the hype/not, have you tried any of these? I'll love to hear from you! Have a fabulous day!

I started using the Revlon colorstay foundation this January and so far it's been worth it! It blends very well even when mixed with other foundations especially mac studio fix fluid. I've not tried the other products but I've read good reviews about the real techniques brushes, would love to try some of them sometime.

DeleteWell that was a pretty positive list of items! I personally only have experienced the mary-lou manizer and the nyx jumbo pencil but from my use I find the nyx jumbo pencil is okay only. It doesn't stay on as long and as waterproof and non-budging as other brands but it is a decent base! I totally want to try the revlon colorstay soon!
ReplyDeleteYou really need to try the revlon foundation, i'm sure you'll love it! :)
