Hello beauties,
So everyone talks about skincare routine, body care routine blah blah, feet care routine is something people don't talk about a lot but our feet deserves some love as well don't you think? Personally I hate dry, ashy and unkempt feet but then I'm sure no one likes that either.. Our feet are more dry, ashy or cracked when the weather is dry--you know especially during harmattan, but honestly you don't have to wait until then to take special care.
First thing is to remove dead skin and I do that by using Scholl Express Smooth Pedi Express, OK! now to be honest I used to use pumice stone which is good as well but the Scholl Pedi Express is smooth and stress free, I turn this on and just us it to file my feet, it works with battery and please note that this must be used on dry feet so I do this right before shower. Guys!! this stuff makes the skin really smooth and soft instantly.
Next is to exfoliate, well removing dead skin and exfoliating are pretty much same but I'm talking about using a scrub, I normally use The Body Shop Peppermint Foot scrub but I'm out of it so I use a normal body scrub, (you can also DIY) this is to further exfoliate the feet, sometimes I leave my feet in water with shower gel(I don't have epsom salt haha!).
Now that the feet has been exfoliated and they are soft, next up is to take care of the toe nails and cuticles, so for this I use a nail cutter, cuticle remover and nail file respectively, well the next thing automatically is to rinse, dry and moisturize, for this I use either Scholl Foot and Nail Cream or Nivea Creme, but my fave is the Nivea Creme because it is quite moisturizing (I use this mostly every morning and it keeps the feet moisturized all day)--- and for a softer feet after moisturizing wear a socks just before bed time! promise you will wake up with soft feet.

I have feet routine but i usually include it in my skincare routine, I soak my feet in warm water that contains some body oils then I use foot scrubs and/or exfoliators atleast once in 1 or 2 weeks depending on the condition of my feet, coincidentally i have a similar post title on my blog but the post is about gladiator sandals, lol

DeleteAHHHH So another user of TBS pepper foot scrub eh! I love that scrub and use about one tub every year...with a pumice stone. Otherwise I use scholl's foot scrub in the tube which does a really damn good job too! I actually need to be paying more attention to my feet! Thanks for reminding me!
