Sephora Mineral Powder Brush #45

Hello beauties,
It's no news I love makeup brushes and I love to add more to my collection always! err! maybe not always! I got the Sephora Mineral Powder Brush #45 brush because I needed an alternative buffing brush, foundation brush is something you always use so in my opinion you need more than one of them, not just because of when one is dirty but because when you have more than one that equals longer life span for the brushes (err. I hope you get me, it's just like having more than one pair black shoes). There aren't so much review on this but I remember seeing this brush in one of fashstyleliv blog posts, so thank you for sharing love!

So enough stories and blabbing! I'm a bit confused about this brush name, on the brush it says Mineral Powder Brush but online I see multitaker brush 45 as well and they are both shaped same way. Well what does that matter as far as it performs well right?

It is a powder brush but I don't use it to apply powder, I use it for liquid foundation and OHH MY! it does a beautiful job yes! the bristles are soft, and quite dense, denser than the RT buffing brush but not as dense as the ZOEVA 102 silk finish brush(my fave!), the bristles are shorter than the buffing brush but same size as the 102, it is same shape as the 102, dome shaped, they just have different handles.

It applies foundation well and quickly giving a nice flawless finish and no streakiness, I would say I prefer it to RT buffing brush haha! don't get me wrong the RT brush is good as well! I have no hard time washing this brush, super easy, same way I wash the rest of my brushes. Price wise Sephora brushes don't come cheap but the quality is quite on point if you ask me, it retails for $24. SO if you are thinking of getting this?! Yup! Highly recommended!

  1. I got this last year and it's such an amazing brush; I think it may even be better than the RT one! It feels well made and I have washed it many times and I have not got one single stray hair from it. It's really an amazing brush with great quality...thanks for sharing...xx

  2. Oh this brush looks perfect for both foundation and packing on some powder! I love brushes like this and recently need to buy some new brushes because mine are either falling apart or I'm getting rid of some older not so suitable brushes! Thanks for the review!
