Hello everyone,
I'm kinda falling in love with mauve lately but softer, light mauve-- it all started when I got the Silkygirl's lip liners they are surprisingly nice, I did love all the shades I got but the mauve was special, I dug up my stash for more mauve related seems like I got a few... I love to call them my lips but better--well--that's what I think...
Silkygirl long-wearing lipliner in Mauve is a pinky mauve will definitely work with pink lipsticks, the liner itself glides on smoothly and the staying power is incredible.
Elianto lustro lipgloss in Sun kiss, this gloss has been my on and off love for the longest time, it is more to the brown side, the pigmentation is fair enough and it definitely plumps up the lips.
NYX round lipgloss in mauve, is light pinkish mauve kinda barbie pink, honestly I've only used this once or twice as it is a bit bright for me, but it is great to tone down lipsticks.
Maybelline lip polish in glam 18, gorgeous brown toned mauve, glides on smoothly and well pigmented, it has some shimmer but not noticeable on the lips.
Revlon sassy mauve, another favorite, it has purple undertones, gorgeous for everyday wear, glides on well, creamy and definitely gorgeous, this would look good on almost all skin tones.
Revlon mauve it over, it is a reddish brown shade, a little out of the mauve zone, more nude than purple, will look good on almost all skin tones as well... it will also be a perfect nude shade depending on the the skin tone.

DeleteI totally love your picks although I don't think of some of them as mauves as I always think of mauve as a more toned down sort of shade, not as bright pink I guess. Anyway you have some fabulous picks there! Love how it looks on your deep complexion, so brightening and pretty! I totally need more shades like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I believe mauve have a hue of purple in them, so they can be deeper or brighter plus the brands call them mauve I have nothing to say, than to agree with them haaha!
