Twist..Twist up..Color

Hello everyone, 

I know some lip crayons requires sharpening but none in my list does so it's ok to twist up, lip crayons/balm sticks are those cute lip pencils that ain't exactly lip pencil liner, depending on the manufacturer they do different things, some are called stains, lipsticks, balms etc. Lip crayons are easy to use no doubt and comes with different finishes - matte, shine, glossy and so on-- 

L-R: Silkygirl Rose, IN2IT Matte Plum, Bourjois Plum Russian, Revlon Lovesick, Clinique Mightiest Maraschino, Revlon Shameless. 

Silkygirl Moisture Boost Lipcolor in Rose is a beautiful rosy pink, it does covers up my pigmented lips, it is an everyday appropriate lip color, last for a couple of hours and doesn't leave stains behind. 

I was expecting IN2IT  Colour Stix in Matte Plum to be a deep plum but it is more like a brown nude/mauve-y plum, the texture is soft and creamy it is almost like Essence lip liner but creamier, applies smoothly, it's not drying and also well pigmented. 

Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon in Plum Russian is a deep reddish plum that isn't intense, it is more like a tinted lip balm, feels comfortable, it is moisturizing and has a glossy finish. Leaves a slight stain behind. 

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Mightiest Maraschino is a beautiful classic red, it is pigmented and glides on well and smooth. It would look good on any skin tone.

Just like the name suggests Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick is really a stain, lovesick is a lovely blue undertone bright pink with a bit of shimmer in it, feels minty on the lips, moisturizing, non drying and stain the lips like crazy.   

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless is really for the shameless, it is a deep purple shade, even though it is matte it doesn't feel drying on the lips, it is doesn't glide on so well it comes off a bit patchy. Doesn't leave much stain behind like the Just Bitten Kissable balms.
