Hello everyone,
Thanks for stopping by!
I have been on the hunt for new foundations for a while now, I walked into Sephora sometime last month and picked up the Sephora 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation, it wasn't like I just walked in there accidentally I actually read a few nice reviews and decided to try it out I was so glad when I found a matching shade(that is difficult around here) I'm in the shade 35 Tan Bronze.
Another thing that attracted me to it was the fact that it says oil free, just what I needed, I love that this foundation comes with a pump makes things quite easy. This foundation is quite thick, I had a hard time blending it with the RT buffing brush, the brush absorbed all the foundation... but then again I tried using my fingers-that worked better- I guess it will be easier with a sponge-if I do try that out I'll def update this post- It gives medium coverage and it's quite build-able, as for concealing blemishes I had to layer up a bit but it does a great job but doesn't actually spots/scars all the way.
This foundation claims second skin technology I'm happy to tell you that this is true, even though I find it hard to apply with buffing brush it does applies smoothly and it gives a semi matte finish. As for staying power, it is great! considering the price it stays good for about 6 hours before fading out and it's not a complete fade out(I don't know if you get me) it still looks good. It says it is oil free but that doesn't help my oiliness at all I still get oily in my t zone area and cheeks.
Things I really love? it evens out skin tone, brightens dull skin, conceals blemishes, gives a natural finish and isn't heavy on the skin. My only ish with this foundation is the thickness. Like I said I apply with my fingers but then again I go over it with a brush just to smoothen out application-streaky foundation ain't nice you know?-
You know how they say some creams will bring out your true complexion.. this is what this foundation does to me haha!
Would I recommend? absolutely YES!! Would I repurchase? Of course, it performs a great job and it is inexpensive-same price as Revlon colorstay- This is def warming up to my HG foundation ya!
Have you tried the Sephora 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation?? What is/are your favorite foundation(s)? I'll love to check them out! Have a fabulous day!
UPDATED: (4/6/15) it blends well when the brush is spayed with facial spray and very smoothly with a beauty blender.

Seems rather light coverage. Did you use a primer prior to application? You can try a silicon primer and this might help to blend the foundation better. Lovely review
ReplyDeleteyes... I use a silicon based primer.. d problem is d brush soaks in the foundation.. it blends better with fingers.. tnhks for stopping by :)
DeleteGreat review...now I"m curious...what is the silicon based primer do? What is it good for?
