Hello everyone,
Revlon is probably my most owned makeup products I think(I think that's right), it isn't the cheapest drugstore brand but they do have quality products- I like to call it the drugstore high-end brand, I can actually do a complete face using only revlon products. Picking out only three faves is actually a bit difficult but then I wanted to keep it simple.
The Colorstay Whipped Creme foundation, first of all I really can't believe I stopped myself from picking this up long ago, seeing it a jar didn't look impressive to me, I felt meh, this will just be some sheer foundation..boy was I wrong, ok.. if you asked me months ago I would have told you my favorite was the colorstay foundation but after using the whipped foundation hmmm I had a change of mind... thank God for sale - it was 50% if I'm correct... the shade selection is really poor tho, the darkest is caramel which was the one I picked. This foundation applies like a dream, lasts long, doesn't make me oily and it is medium to full coverage-the only thing is fingers are it's best friend.
The Super Lustrous Lipsticks, the first one I ever picked up was love that red (that was like 2 year ago or so) and it's been love ever since. They come in 4 finishes matte, creme, shine, pearl but I only own the matte and creme finishes which are so adorably pigmented, they don't settle in fine lines and they last pretty long. My top faves are Raisin Rage(used here) and Sassy mauve (used here) both creme finishes. Another thing to mention is the Super Lustrous glosses, they are not the most pigmented glosses but they do add a little color and shine to the lips plus they aren't sticky. I may have a post featuring all my Super Lustrous lipsticks.
The Balm Sticks, I'm sure almost everyone has one or two of these, I'm in love with both the stains and the matte, they have great color selection, the staying power is really impressive and the apply smoothly-- this might depend on the particular shade tho-- I really can't get enough of them. One of my favorite is lovesick which is a beautiful bright pink with blue undertone, will definitely suit most skin tones.
3 faves is a new blog series I'm hoping will continue, I'll be writing about 3 fave things (brands, products etc.)
Do you love Revlon products? Any fave from their brand? Share them I'll love to check them out. Have a fabulous day!
Thanks for stopping by!

The whipped creme foundation sounds nice, i'm currently using the colorstay, i actually scheduled a post about it for tomorrow. Before you started using it, how long did makeup last on your face before getting oily?

I'm good, hope you are as well? Ya Revlon lipsticks r awesome :)
DeleteThe balm sticks are definitely my favourite! I own far too many of them. I adore the red balm stain as I can put it over my MAC russian red (which is a matte) and it just adds more moisture and I feel like my red lipstick lasts SO much longer. Great post lovely.
