A Do It All Brush?!

Hello beauties,
Everyone should have at least one multitasking/multitasker brush in their collection in my opinion tho! A multitaker brush just makes life easier especially when you are in a hurry or when you're traveling, you don't need to pack up up to 10 brushes. I know I've been raving about E.L.F brushes lately on the blog hehe forgive me, I just think they are so good and less pricey... So the brush I'm talking about is the E.L.F Complexion Brush and I call it a do it all brush.

From E.L.F's website: This  anti bacterial, synthetic haired Taklon brush is softer and more absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this e.l.f. studio brush! Creates an even and natural finish Expertly sweeps all types of powders across the entire face and sculpts features beautifully Use with pressed, loose, or translucent powders, blush or bronzer  *Vegan Friendly

The brush ferrule is pinched making the brush flat on the sides, just imagine this is Sigma e25 but the XXXL, it is moderately sized and has a slightly tapered tip-- oh did I mention how soft, fluffy and non scratchy this brush is? This brush retails for $3 but the quality is more than $3 in my opinion, it washes well and I haven't experienced any shedding.

The complexion brush is great for applying powder, bronzer, blush and even highlighter, you can also use the tapered end to contour but might be too big if you have a small face. I mostly use it for blush if I'm working with a pigmented blush this brush just diffuses the color on the cheeks, for powder it is great to dust powder all over, this brush is amazing to apply bronzer just like I said it diffuses color so you won't look clownish, it is also great to apply bronzer all over. As for highlighting and contouring I rarely use this for them especially contouring unless the tip is pinched then one can get a precise application, and for applying highlighter I do this ones in a while when my brushes are dirty but it does apply well. So this is a brush I'll pop in my travel bag for the everything job!
So what is your go to brush/multitaker brush?! Have you tried the E.L.F Complexion Brush before? I'll love to hear from you!! Have a beautiful day and weekend ahead!

  1. Ohhhhh I need to stop reading posts on brushes because I have way too many but I love the sound and look of this brush. ELF brushes (studio line) were my favourites for along time. My go-to brush for everything is definitely my Real Techniques Multi-Tasker brush as it really does everything...Thanks for sharing...xx

  2. i use BareMinerals Brushes, but I use different ones, because I don't like to have blush or bronzer on my foundation brushes. But I like the idea of a one for all!

  3. This sounds like a fantastic option for a multi purpose brush! I have one or two brushes that I use between different products but I tend to use them for one thing at a time until I wash it! My best multi tasking brush is Eco-tool's new tapered blush brush which I love using for pressed powder but also it can be used for blush (although I prefer smaller brushes), it is awesome for contouring though because it's tapered and comes to a small point! Do check it out dear! :)
